Brutus the Bison bison bison

Brutus stayed with me in the Willows near my tent for nearly 5 weeks. He was awake with me at sunrise and bedded down at sunset. The softness in his eyes and his gentle grunts sent clear communication that Buffalo (Bison bison bison) are sentient and feeling beings.
